Product overview

• Small, round electronic buzzer similar in principle to the miniature solid state buzzer, but louder
• Panel or base flange mounted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pitch perfect I have bought both 6 and 12 volt versions of this buzzer for use in radio controlled models, the 6 volt version will be used in smaller model fishing boats using 4.8 volts to lower the tone slightly and has a quite realistic sound of a simple horn or harbour klaxon.

With the piezo buzzers being separately available, would I be right in assuming that these ones will be electromagnetic?

Asked by: Tootles
These are electromagnetic. A datasheet is available upon request, please email

Do Maplin stock any AC Voltage Buzzers, they all seem to be DC from what I can see I am looking to replace a 13Vac Buzzer
Asked by: Richard
Unfortunately not.

I'm not technically minded so i apologise if my question is obvious but if i were to place the 2 leads (red & black) across the relevant voltage battery it would sound?
Asked by: Damien
Yes, that's correct.
