Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Noisy Fan Have just replaced the cooling fan in the power supply unit of my PC with this fan. The noise is unbelievable. I will now have to source another one quickly and throw this one away before my hearing is damaged. Do not buy for installation where noise would be a problem.

Can u recommend a 12V power supply for the 12V dc Axial Brushless fan please

Asked by: Larry
The fan is for use inside a computer, so typically any ATX power supply would be fine. If you intend to use it in an environment other than inside a PC you would need to determine suitability of a power supply yourself as we cannot advise on circuit/project design or product modification.

I'm looking for a small solar panel to run a fan like this.  The panel would have to stand outside.  Would Maplins sell such an item to accompany the fan? Many thanks

How would you connect this to a 12v or variable voltage plug. Just cutting the wires from the plug or adding a (what?) connector to the fan wires ? thanks
Asked by: Simon again
The fan simply requires a 12 DC supply this could be an AC/DC adapter almost any conector (2 pole) could be used
