I have one of these fitted to my system. We have a weak signal warning and intermittent connectivity in both TV's. Does the unit require replacing or will it be an ariel fault, other system fault or out of my control.

Asked by: Steve 272
This would seem like the signal has deteriorated, either a stronger booster or a new aerial would be the most obvious fixes, but it may be worth consulting a TV Aerial company to have the system checked.

What is the FULL output for.  I want to boost the TV aerial and split to 6 TVs - but do I need to always connect one output to FULL and if so does it matter which one ?

The SLx8 has built-in full line powering which can be used to provide power to masthead amplifi ers. When connected to a masthead

I bought one of these because I have 8 TV sockets to connect to a terrestial loft aerial. But the picture is much worse with the aerial than without - looks over-amplified (ghost channels, lines across picture). What''s the problem? Should I have an 8-way RF splitter instead?
Asked by: Andy
Have you terminated the 'Full' output with the 75ohm terminator connector if you are not using it?

Would this work on a 12v supply as it will be going on a narrow boat to connect 3 aerials to it thus having only one external aerial on the roof and therefore only one hole to be drilled instead of 3. Thanks. Keith

Asked by: Keith
Unfortunately not this is powerd by a 13A mains plug.

I want to stop Virgin TV. and have Optical cables running to rooms throughout the house. If I use the only coaxial aerial entry into the house, can I use this box to redistribute the TV signal to freeview boxes in other rooms. Thanks
Asked by: Ken
This device will amplify and distribute a coaxial signal around your property , you would have to route coaxial cable to the other rooms where you wish to site the freeview boxes
