About this product

Product overview

• Identifies the circuit draining your car battery • Connects your multimeter directly into the car fuse box • Simply plugs into any blade type fuse holder • Quality test leads • Measures up to 48V/ 20A • Cable length: 900mm

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good idea, needs an updated version I bought this to test the 4 fuses going to a control module on my car and test for current flow. I am unable in this form to get the fuse tester into the fuse slot I require. It needs another 5mm of length to get past my fuse box stand-offs along the side of the fuses. See photo 1. The side of the lead has a holder for the fuse you are testing through. This needs a cut out in the centre to allow easy extraction of the fuse once inserted. See 2nd Photo.

Do I need a 20A meter to use this or does it have a shunt resistor built in? Are the instructions online anywhere?

Asked by: Paul
The 20A rating is the maximum supported by this adapter, if it is possible you will connect to a circuit of this output then we would advise using a meter capable of measuring at least this.

Does this fit both normal "blade" fuse holders as well as the smaller "mini blade" fuse holders?
Asked by: Phill Rogers
No, as there is a mini and normal lead for it!
