What is a bone transducer?
A bone conduction transducer works very similar to a speaker – but instead of vibrating a cone, it will vibrate a bone. Simply place it on your jaw bone, temporal bone, or any other to hear the effect. This transducer is not restrict to bones, you can place it on a table, the bottom of a glass and many other places – making this a highly portable speaker.

This transducer would be wired in place of a speaker or other transducer, making it perfect for enhancing an audio project you’ve already made. This transducer is rated at 8 ohm impedance and runs at roughly one watt. It works perfectly with the Maker audio amplifier range available here.

If you are looking to use this transducer in a project where it will have lengthy contact with skin, it is advised to cover it to stop shortages caused by sweat, rain, etc.
