Will this be the right cooler for me?
If you’re looking for a cooler that is quick and easy to install then this K32 cooler could be an ideal option for you. The fan can spin at a maximum 3,000RPM, which results in 30.54dBA of noise, 4.05mm/H2O of static pressure and the movement of 56.81 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air. Efficient and focused CPU and motherboard cooling is provided via the omni-directional heatsink, helping to keep your processor cool.

How do I change the fan speed?
The fan supports pulse width modulation (PWM), which provides you with increased speed control, so you can adjust the speed from 3,000RPM to 600RPM and anywhere in between. At 600RPM noise is reduced to a near silent 17.2dBA. This allows you to manually fine tune the speed for the balance between performance and noise that suits your need. Alternatively, you can set your motherboard to automatically adjust fan speed based on CPU usage.

What is this compatible with?
This cooler is compatible with Intel LGA775 and LGA115x (1156, 1155, 1151, 1150) sockets and is quick and easy to install thanks to its Intel approved pushpins and pre-applied thermal compound. The cooler has been designed to work with CPUs up to 95W, but greater cooling efficiency can be attained through efficient case airflow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does The Job -- But Beware The User Guide! I bought one of these after the legs on my second-hand heat sink practically fell apart while trying to replace a PSU. As far as performance goes, this fan will not impress enthusiasts anytime soon, but will do more than enough for anyone looking for a simple solution to their cooling issues. It even comes with thermal paste pre-applied -- although I wiped it off of mine and used some of my own. The only gripe that I have is that the user manual is abysmal at educating you how to install the thing. I would recommend buying paste of your own and doing a 'test-run' with the heatsink before applying the good stuff. I thought I had it on right, but I was getting some pretty scary temps during 100% CPU load. When I went back in and adjusted the legs to the point where the heatsink did not wobble at all, temps dropped 10-13C instantly! Make sure the legs are on firm and tight, and that the unit does not wobble at all. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done. Other than that, if you can get over the headache and fingerache of installing this thing, then it's a worthwhile purchase. Recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to install and quiet. My stock Intel fan was whirring away a bit so I thought i'd upgrade the fan. I don't do gaming (apart from a little FSX) so I wasn't bothered to have liquid cooling etc. After chatting to the helpful chap in store, I opted for this Akasa fan. Looking at all of the price tickets on the shelf for each fan, they were all hanging around the 30db for noise. So I thought for less than £13, I'd give it a try. The fan was super easy to install. You literally twist the 4 lockers in the direction shown in the leaflet, position the fan over the CPU so that the little plug feet sit in the 4 holes, then push two pins in at a time diagonally. You'll hear a little click at they lock in. Do the same for the other two and that's it. I fired up the PC and the new fan is smooth and quiet. I do think I need a new case though as this can sometimes be the culprit for acoustic noise too! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
