Product overview

• UHF (ultra-high frequency) transmission reduces interference from other devices

Where would I use this wireless kit?
Ideal for use in hotels, dance class and smaller venues, you can get a great sound without trailing wires everywhere. This kit comes with a bodypack to transmit an instrument’s sound and a wireless handheld microphone for your vocals. The microphone and body pack transmit to the receiver on either 864.375 or 864.850 MHz licence-free frequencies. Just plug the provided cable into a 1/4-inch (6.35mm) socket and your guitar or bass, and transmit wirelessly from the bodypack to the receiver. The receiver has separate controls and outputs for each transmitter, letting you change the volume independently on each.

What can the receiver do?
This mains powered receiver can receive audio from both bodypack and microphone simultaneously. The two devices use different frequencies so as not to interfere with each other, and also have separate volume controls. Separate indicators for each transmitter let you know at a glance whether there is a strong enough signal and whether the AF audio clipping is on. Power indicators let you know whether the receiver is on or not. Two balanced 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) outputs let you keep the audio separate, and give you the option of sending to two different mixers or speakers, or sending to one on different channels.

What can I hear with the wireless microphone?
Hear everything with this dynamic microphone and get up to 30 hours of use out of a single AA battery. There’s no need to worry about running low on power, as this microphone has an indicator to tell you when to change batteries. With its cardioid polar pattern you get great sound from where the microphone is pointed, while noise from the sides and behind the microphone is reduced – perfect for live performances. The rugged hardwearing design and spring steel grill give you a long stage life, and the high definition audio performance technology gives you crystal clear audio. With the noiseless on/off and mute functions, your audience will only hear exactly what you want them to.

What can I used with the bodypack?
With its small rugged housing, this is a great bodypack to fit onto your belt and use with an instrument or microphone. The bodypack can run for up to 30 hours on a single AA battery and has a low battery indicator to let you know when to change it. The bodypack comes with batteries, a belt clip and an MKG L cable which can connect an MKG cable to a 1/4-inch (6.35mm) socket. The bodypack has a volume control and an on/off and mute switch, which allows you to silence the sound from your transmitter without disconnecting from the receiver.
