Who can use the Alto Pro ZMX52?
This lightweight mixer is perfect for solo gigs, multimedia studios or even just mixing tunes in your own home. The compact design allows you to transport between venues, while the six inputs allow to connect almost anything with a sound output into the channels. This gives you a well-rounded mixer that almost anyone will be able to use.

What are the equalisers used for?
The built-in equalisers are used for perfecting the sound you are trying to achieve. The gain is used for normalising audio signals so you can get the best quality from your music. The bass and the treble controls are used for increasing or decreasing the lower and higher frequencies so you can improve that sound response even further. These features give you full control over your music and making it sound the best it can do.

How easy is the mixer to set up?
This all-purpose mixer is simple and easy to set up. Once you have put the mixer where you will be using it, you will need to connect the devices you will be using. This could be an MP3 player, a CD player or a computer. Once you have connected these to the phono or line-in sockets on the back, plug your amplifier or powered speakers and power adapter into the master out sockets on the back and you’re ready to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this so I could mic my guitar cab up then hear it through my in ear monitoring system as when using the DI output on my amp sounded horrible so I wanted to hear the true sound of my amp coming out of my 4 X 12 when playing live, and as a mic on it's own is extremely quiet put this brilliant little unit in between the mic and the in ear system as it's amplified is just what I needed. This little beauty is superb and was a measley Ј34-99 on offer, plus the amount of control for my mic signal is fantastic,I can't praise this enough

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought this to use with a Sennheiser E625 mic, Yamaha PFP10 piano and Roland Cube 80W amp. Tried this in a hall with about 60 people. Very impressed, clear sound, portable, precise controls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I got this mixer because I needed a new mixer for my C1 Behringer Mic in my new radio studio. It's a great, simple mixer easy to use and very effective. Over my times I have used some more complicated mixers however this mixer is one of the best mixers I have ever used. The only downside with this mixer is the fact that you can't change the volume of the aux in which is a bit annoying, however the aux in volume can change by turning the main mix and the mic volume up. The description say's 8 inputs however i only counted 7 but really only 6 as there are two inputs in channel one, I would suggest only using one input on channel one unless you really need it. There are also four other mic inputs and on aux in. There is also 4 outputs! The aux out, main mix x2 and a headphone plug. Overall O think that this is a great mixer if your a radio presenter (like me) or a guitarist, if you are a pro or have just started Its great

Will this mixer work with passive speakers?

Asked by: Rich
The outputs on this device are meant to connect to an amplifier which your speakers would then connect to.

I have this already set up with vocal and backing input, going out to two active speakers but I want to set up another output  to an active stage monitor, how do I do this and what cable do I need. The input for the stage monitor is a normal 1/4 inch jack
