Product overview

• Extends the life of locks and padlock• Long lasting lubrication, no oils to attract dirt and grime• Dry film repels water• Works even when lock has mild corrosion• Ideal for corrosive or saline conditions• Helps prevent snapped keys• Padlocks open first time – even after extended inspection times• Ideal for locks on remote equipment, buildings, and cabinets

Whether its for routine maintenance or long-term shut-down this Graphite Lock Lube will help to prevent your locks and padlocks from becoming seized or corroded. Just put the nozzle into the lock cylinder and press to fire a jet of high quality graphite lubricant into the lock to coat the moving parts. Because the graphite forms a dry powder it is ideal for indoors or outside, hot or cold conditions and it will prevent sticking from a build up of contaminants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! Brilliant This stuff is fantastic. I have always known that dry graphite is the best lube for locks but this stuff seems to use the liquid to take the graphite into the lock before evaporating. Just a fraction of a second's squirt and the lock operated better than new. In fact, I reckon that it could even be used on new locks improve the action. I turned the key and it felt like a new lock. That on it's own must have spread the graphite because when I came home and unlocked it was like it was moving in air. I've never felt a lock so smooth. (Don't forget that it operates on the key mechanism only so if the other parts of the lock are stiff, the whole lock will be also).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Works This is a little can of Black Magic. My Harley Davidson motorcycle cables had gone all notchy with winter use, and the HD manual says not to use oil but a graphite spray. Tried a PTFE type spray first without success, tried this and the results are instant. I think the fine powder, although wet to start with, can penetrate better than a normal wet lubricant. The best thing is the can is tiny so it will fit in the bike tool kit, and there's still enough left for at least one more application. Oh, and it probably works on locks too!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective and will save you money. I brought this after overhearing; in a locksmith shop; how horrendously expensive it was to re place the apparently very good locks on my UPVC front door! Certainly works and lasts ages because you only need a little squirt. Have been secretly using it on the Yale lock to the office where I work which is used by 30 people 3 times a day. It costs Ј500 to replace the lock with all the required keys. A little squirt of this twice a year is all you need.

Hi, is this useful to avoid the friction in the hinges of the door?  or should I use another product?    It's for an indoor door.  Thanks!
