What is included in this kit?
This mains powered soldering iron has an 18W output and is supplied as a kit. The kit includes a stand to safely hold your soldering iron and a tube of lead-free solder to get you started. This soldering iron is small, making it ideal for precision soldering work.

What difference does the wattage make?
The wattage of a soldering iron is one of the most important factors when deciding which one to buy. Higher wattage will deliver more power to the iron’s tip, allowing it to heat up quicker. As this is an 18W mains soldering iron, it heats up the tip within three minutes, allowing you to start soldering without having to refill butane tanks or replace batteries.

Do I need anything else for this soldering iron?
To get started, this kit has everything you need. Simply unpack the kit, setup the stand and plug in the soldering iron. Replacement solder is available to purchase when the supplied solder runs low.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very under-powered, pretty much useless Although a very cheap purchase I would not say this product is worth what I paid. I ended up purchasing another more powerful 70w soldering station in order to get the job done.
