What is this element compatible with?
If you already own one of our Antex 25W type XS soldering irons (Order Code FR12 and ND94) and find that it is no longer heating up to full temperature, this heating element is an ideal replacement for you. Simply remove the tip from your soldering iron and unscrew the existing element before replacing it with this new one.

I have an Antex XS25 which needs a new element.The specs. of this element states it has up to 18 watt of power will it be suitable for my 25watt iron it sounds low for my iron.

I have an antex model that looks the same but different wattage. Is the nut fixing 14.5mm across flats? My old element is this size. regards Alan.
