Rated 1 out of 5 by from Questionable quality... Just bought one via click and collect. Product is not as pictured - comes with a plastic pin rather than a brass / copper one (ref one of the questions) I have tried this with a multimeter when I got home - the plastic pin does have some metal content (checked with a strong HDD magnet), but the multimeter struggles to find a link between the press stud and the pin - it is there at times, but seems to be very ropey. Returning it tomorrow along side a press stud cable which seems to be worse... wonder what the response will be.

I'm about to effect my first build. I intend to install my new RAM and CPU on to my motherboard before installing it into my case. How would I use this plug in this scenario. Is there anything else I can buy to minimize risk?
