Is this for thunderbolt 2?

Asked by: Benn
As Thunderbolt 2 is backwards compatible, this should work fine in either Thunderbolt specification socket.

I'm looking for a adapter or connector to transfer video from a Sony camcorder to a laptop with USB 3 and usb-c ports. I was under the impression that thunderbolt and usb-c were effectively the same? If this one won't work, is there one available please

Asked by: Griff
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee full compatibility for this item with please check directly with Sony what type of cable is needed.
