What can I do with this bundle?
Our silver grade ‘Artillery’ gaming motherboard bundle supplies you with the base needed to build a good PC gaming system. It includes an AMD FX-6300 processor, ASUS’s 970-Pro Aura motherboard and 8GB Corsair XMS RAM. All you’ll need to add on top of this to get a system going is a power supply, hard drive or SSD, operating system, graphics card and a case to house it all. As such, this bundle is ideal as one of your very first builds.

How good is the processor?
The AMD FX-6300 Black Edition six core APU has a base frequency of 3.5GHz, (4.1GHz boost) which provides you with satisfying gaming, working and multi-tasking performance. The six individual cores of the AMD-FX6300 help the processor handle heavy duty applications such as video editing, 3D rendering or anything else that can be used to create, edit and encode graphically intensive files. The processor is pre-fitted with an FX-6300 heatsink style cooler with fan to effectively dissipate heat when running intensive tasks

How is this motherboard different?
The ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura motherboard features an AMD AM3+ socket type for the processor. Four DDR3 DIMM slots offer ample space for additional memory with support for speeds up to 2,133MHz. Intel Gigabit Ethernet and LANGuard keeps your internet speed stable while maintaining best possible speeds. Built-in support for USB 3.1 and high speed M.2 storage cards makes this main board ideal for fast data transfers for a first time builder. Meanwhile, CrossFire and SLI support allow you to expand your graphics capabilities for smoother gameplay and higher frame rates while using multiple GPUs.

You can illuminate and customise your system with the Aura LED lighting on this board. Further control your system settings with a host of ASUS software applications such as: ASUS AI Suite 3, Asus OC tuner, ASUS Crash Free Bios and ASUS Fan Expert 2 to aid you in getting the most from your system.

How much memory is included with this bundle?
The Artillery bundle includes 8GB (2x4GB) of Corsair XMS DDR3 1600MHz memory, running with CL11 timings (11-11-11-30) to get you started. This fast memory type makes it possible to move data quickly and recall temporary files at a high speed. The XMS series of Corsair memory provides a boost to your system, which is required by gaming. A unique heat spreader design allows the memory to stay cool while under load, making sure your system doesn’t falter under pressure.
