Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when set up properly Works fine now, but initial problems with LogitechM185 mouse where mouse pointer would freeze for a few seconds once a minute or so. Discovered by trial and error that the default "Mouse Emulation" mode needed to be disabled - then all works smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works a Treat Had the previous version for DVI cable but got new HDMI monitors, one of which I needed to share between my home PC and my business laptop. Works really well. Saves having two keyboards, two mice etc.

Are the mouse and keyboard on separate connections to the computer

Asked by: eknw11
As long as your mouse and keyboard have individual USB connections and are not run through a unifying receiver then this would be replicated through the switch.

Will this complecated product do HDMI input to USB output?

Asked by: keoni936
No, I am sorry but this will not be suitable, the only thing that would allow this is a game capture card like the one linked below: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/elgato-game-capture-hd-a34nf
