10 different models to make
Have fun creating and controlling a forklift, gripper and rover robot by using this kit. Build the three models using different combinations of the ten modules. Have fun assembling the ten modules with the 151 parts, then it’s simple to combine the modules to create each model. The robots have a range of movement: they can go forwards, backwards, left, right, up and down for hours of fun playing with them. The models are powered by the wired controller, giving more space in the models for the mechanisms.

How to build the robots
Explore how the same pieces can create very different outputs depending on how they are connected. This kit provides a great way to look at mechanics, as you get a detailed look at how each module contributes to the whole model. See how gears interact with each other and how it transforms the output from the motors. No soldering or glue is required, as the kit simply clips together. This kit requires four AA batteries. A diagonal cutter and screwdriver may be required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Bought this on Friday and spent a few hours with the kids (7 & 9) putting it together, which was fun. Finished Saturday afternoon. The instructions are all visual and we haven't spotted any errors in them so far. All the parts were present and easily removed from the plastic 'frames'. The only small criticism I'd make is that I'd prefer it to have a slightly longer cable. We've only built the Rover so far, but there are disassembly instructions too, so expecting to be able to build the other models easily too. All in all, great value, both in the building phase and, so far lots of fun driving it around the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality time with 8 year old son Santa brought this for our 8 year old. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Myself and my son spent 2 hours assembling the robot after which he spent the rest of the evening driving over books cushions etc. The following day we changed it to the forklift and again more fun was had. The assembled robot is quite robust and will stand up to kids play time. The only negative is that it is smaller than the pictures would lead you to believe however don't let that put you off.

With the wired control panel, does this mean that the various toys are hard wired to the panel and therefore may provide limited movement? Is the control panel supplied with the kit?
