Turn anything into a sensor
The Bare Conductive Touch Board Pro Kit provides the tools and resources you need to prototype your interactive, electronic projects. The Touch Board Pro Kit comes with a base board, the Touch Board, which has 12 electrodes and can trigger sound through its pre-programmed mp3 player. It has capacitive touch and distance sensing and is Arduino, HID, and MIDI compatible. This kit gives you even more connection options with the Touch Board Proto Shield, which has a large prototyping area, a ground plane, screw terminal for wired connections and pins brought up to the shield. 15 metres of copper tape is included in the kit, so you can easily connect your sensors across long distances. This encourages you to expand your board and create projects on a larger scale around your household or workspace. You’ll be able to turn your everyday objects and surfaces into interactive sensors, and explore the endless possibilities with audio, motion capture, and anything else you can think of to make your life more fulfilled with the genius of electronics.

Give life to everyday surfaces with printed sensors
In this Touch Board Prototyping Kit, Bare Conductive have included Electric Paint as well as three A5 pre-printed sensors. The electronically conductive paint means you can paint circuits, connecting your Touch Board and Proto Shield to surfaces and objects without the need for extensive wires and hot soldering. You can paint your circuits freehand or use stencils to create a base for your creations. Once the Electric Paint is dry, your projects can be controlled and triggered by touching your painted circuits, making or breaking sound, even setting off a range of other hardware like cameras or alarms. The pre-printed sensors give you a head start into testing your projects, and once you’re created the perfect circuit, you can then replicate and expand it by painting or screen printing your own. Bare Conductive provide you with a Resources Guide, containing a wide range of project ideas along with step by step tutorials if you’re stuck for inspiration.

Expanding your graphic sensors
The graphic sensors you make with your Bare Conductive Touch Board Prototyping Kit can be as large or as small scale as you want. You may want to explore interactive wallpaper to make your children’s rooms more exciting, or perhaps you want to keep your favourite recipes at hand by recording them and replaying them through an audio output by simply touching your printed sensor. Bare Conductive’s kits have been used as art installations, exploring the concepts of play and sound, as well workshops exploring scientific concepts and bringing innovative technology to a wider audience.
