About this product

Product overview

• Pulse Oximeter to put on your forefinger to determine oxygen saturation and heart rate
• Simple to use and pain-free
• Colour display with adjustable brightness

What does this pulse oximeter tell me?
This pulse oximeter will not only measure your arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2), it will also show your heart rate on the coloured display. It is simple to use and completely pain-free. Simply place the meter on your forefinger and turn the meter on to see the measurements.

Why would I need a pulse oximeter?
Oximeters are suitable for people who suffer from breathing problems – for example asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) – and need to keep an eye on their O2 levels. This pulse oximeter is also suitable for sports at a higher altitude due to the thinner air.

How will I know if my SpO2 level is too low?
The coloured display shows the oxygen reading as a percentage. Over 92% and the levels are normal, between 88-92% you should seek advice and below 88% you should seek immediate advice.

This item should ideally be used in conjunction with advice from a respiratory nurse, a doctor or a GP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pulse OxiMeter is robust and accurate. we required it for medical reasons. As a Trained Nurse I can honestly recommend this medical instrument

Is this oximeter battery powered? If so how long would the battery last?

Asked by: AlexanderB
The unit is battery powered (2x AAA batteries included) unfortunately I cannot hazard a guess as to how long they would last as this is entirely dependent on usage and the quality of batteries you choose to use.
