what is  the connector type for this switch? I'm connecting it to the GPIO pins on a raspberry pi and would rather do it with a pair of jumper wires rather than soldering it.

Asked by: Matt
I know this is an old question, but the previous answer is incorrect. I have used Miniature Female Spade Connectors (Maplin Code: N22AN) on this switch when I needed to pre-mount the switch then connect the wires afterwards.

Do I have to hold the button down for it to complete the circuit or does it keep the circuit connection once pressed until pressed again?

Asked by: Jjs15
Yes to complete the circuit the button would have to be pushed and held to keep the circuit completed.
