36 Ultra bright surface mount LEDs mounted on a 400mm long flexible PCB. The strip has three cut points along its length that allows the 400mm length to be cut down into shorter 100mm strips if required. The strips can be soldered together end to end to form longer lengths. They can also be mounted using double-sided tape (Order code: N91AL). A suitable power supply is also available (Order code: L47BL) that will operate 5 strips. The strips is blue (Order code: N55CF).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used 3 of these LED strips to light the inside of a display cabinet, cut into 10cm or 20cm lengths. They are very thin and I was therefore able to install them such that they can't be seen at all from the outside, as they were hidden by the wooden surround to the glass doors. If you can’t hide them, they are not very pretty, so bear this in mind before buying as you may need to find a suitably translucent cover if they are in view. The recommended double sided adhesive tape (N91AL) doesn't stick to wood though, so I used a hot glue gun to hold the LEDs in place. I also used the N28JU 18W LED transformer to power these, which can be discretely fixed in place. The low power means they don’t get hot which is a bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have used these for lighting inside cupboards, where space is at a premium. I fix them to thin strips of wood, with a terminal block at one end. This makes the strip more rigid, and allows it to be screwed to the inside wall of the cupboard. It is easy to make two "strip" lights of 200mm each.

Can these be powered from solar panel?

Asked by: Pogmahog
This would be possible, however it would be recommended in this type of situation to use the panel to charge a battery, and run the lights from the battery.

Can I use these lights off a battery, probably a LiPo or NiCad battery. I'm looking to make a flood light like light bar for a 1/5 scale RC stadium truck.
Asked by: Josh
Yes the product does support this.

What are the manufacturer''s codes for the strips you sell ? OMC make these in two flavours that differ in light intensity (lower intensity LSDCPLF-Lxx-xxx, and higher intensity LSDCPLF-Hx-xxxx), but I could not tell from the website which one''s you are selling.
Asked by: Tomas
These are LSDCPLF-Hx-xxxx.
