Rated 2 out of 5 by from The epoxy resin itself works well, grabbing and curing quickly. However the syringe itself is a particularly poor design. The cap breaks off the end to open the container and then reverses and twists to close. This means that the end originally facing the resin is now upwards, where you can brush it all over other equipment, your hands etc. The twist motion guarantees partial mixing of resin and hardener in the cap, blocking the opening. Check the Bison range of adhesive to see how to do this properly. I was using those 25 years ago.

Is this product suitable for sticking a heatsink onto an 8-pin DIL? One of the staff at Chester branch told me I would need ''thermal epoxy resin'' which Maplin did not sell. But I can''t find ''thermal epoxy resin'' on sale anywhere.

thermal paste would be a better bet.
