I have BT infinity which extender would be best for me to fit

Asked by: Lucky lad
This would depend entirely on what you are trying to extend. Powerline network only extenders would be little use if you wanted to extend your Wi-Fi coverage for example. Single band Wi-Fi extender is no use if you want to extend dual band Wi-Fi. Some kits come with multiple units to deliver maximum distribution around the property. If you are unsure give us a ring and and explain exactly what you are trying to extend, or drop into one of our many stores for a chat ... I'm sure we can help.

I already have the BT500 Wifi Hotspot kit but require an additional wired adapter for a BT TV installation. I cannot find a single adapter for sale, only this kit. Is it possible to buy a single adapter or is this kit my only option to extend?

Asked by: BTbod
There are no single units left and very few of these double kits remain.

Yes, I am pleased to advise the item will support this use. You can buy any BT homeplug or this kit again to get better value.

Yes this will work fine in your intended application. But we cannot guarantee this will stop the "Lag" during gaming.

With this kit do I get all I need to extend my broadband from my router to my p.c. or do I need another piece of equipment? I.E. Do I get one box that can transmit and another box that can receive in this kit?

Asked by: Anonymous
both boxes are transmitter/receivers .. you simply place one near the router and one near the PC and connect the short ethernet cables to each device.
