Do i need to connect this speaker to my telephone
The BT Loud extension bell does not require a direct connection to your phone, instead simply connect the phone into an existing socket on the same line, or use a standard 2 way RJ11 adapter (not included). Take note that a standard telephone line can only accept connections from 4 devices at the same time, exceeding this can cause failure of the bell or any existing connections.

how many volts does it take to drive this unit. I have home phone direct by verison and it only puts out 40-50 volts and I believe it drives electronic ringers only. Thanks in advance for your help!

We have a BT Featureline system with sequential ringing on a three phone circuit. But when we are in the warehouse or just outside the normal phone ring isn't loud enough. Would this solve our problem or would the sequential ringing system cause a problem
