This system lets you connect all of your wireless devices with a single reliable WiFi signal that moves with you, as you move around your home. This allows your devices to run at incredible wireless speeds without fear of losing connection or experiencing long load times. Stream your favourite shows in any room, without having the worry of buffering. Game online wirelessly from any location inside your home without lag or network slowdown.

Intelligent, self configuring wireless network
The BT Whole Home WiFi system adapts your wireless network to follow you as you move from room to room. The system instantly switches connections between the three wireless discs, without having to disconnect or reconfigure your connected devices. This intelligent configuring system keeps wireless devices connected using the fastest speed possible, while maintaining a solid and secure 2.4GHz (800Mbps) or 5GHz (1733Mbps) wireless connection.

WiFi connection that places you in control
The BT Whole Home WiFi system uses the BT Whole Home application to let you manage and monitor your WiFi network. See how fast your Wi-Fi network is running and how many people are currently connected to your network. You can use the app to guide you in finding the best position of your BT discs for the fastest WiFi speeds.
You can also pause your WiFi connection at will by simply tapping one of the Whole Home WiFi discs. This gives you power to use your home Wi-Fi when you want to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! We were dubious of this at first however, once installed (Very quick and easy using the Free BT App), we have found it really des work! There is a noticeable difference in connectivity around the home and the kids tablets, my laptop and the TV streaming all work better and no longer drop out or loose connection around the house. Great for anyone whom enjoys the Internet- without interruption!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG! Soooo good!!!! Just got this today. Anyone can get it going. It's just so easy.....and even in our house with thick brick walls and spread over a very large area it's amazing. No dead spots at all - so far!!! Doubled the speed I've been having from the new sky router I got only two months ago. This is a bargain. You must buy it now. Looks great. Small and well designed. Amazing tech for little money for the upside. Kids love it. So we're v happy. I've turned all the wifi stuff to point to just this router so it's meant to be better. And so far I can't complain at all. Have fun and buy now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Absolute Game Changer! - Has Transformed my WiFi I had struggled with WiFi in a old, large house with incredibly thick walls. I had just about managed with repeaters - but performance was degraded and I had to constantly change settings as I moved around the house with mobile devices. Those days are gone and I now have lightning fast WiFi across the whole house. (Indeed, as it says on the tin: Whole Home WiFi) Set up was very simple indeed: fitted the first disc to my existing router and installed the app on my phone. After entering a few passwords all was good. Next followed a bit of trial and error as I fitted the remaining 2 discs across the house to achieve the best coverage. Simples! Best of all, my study (the furthest room from the router) now has WiFi speeds almost as fast as a direct Ethernet connection. I couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BT Whole House WIFI Purchased this over the weekend from the Peterborough store, the staff were very helpful. Installation is pretty quick, coverage is now truly all over the house including the patio. Much better than the two access points I had previously, you do need though to "forget this network" for the BT Hub or devices will try to reconnect to it. The App is also v good, shows which devices are connected to which disc and the respective download speeds. Kids have also stopped moaning about "poor" Wi-Fi which is a real plus :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor wifi problems: SOLVED After having problems with my wifi extenders for the nth time, and enduring civil rest unrest when I came home from work, I decided it was time that I spent some proper money on a professional level solution that would take the aggravation out of home wifi and relegate it to the background. This had only just been released when I bought it, for the princely sum of £300. The alternative was the Netgear Omni, but that was £80 more, didn't have a no quibble money back guarantee (feeling bruised having had headache with the wifi extenders I was sceptical about tech hype) and had one less router unit. I brought the box home, downloaded the app to my Android phone, took out the discs and plugged them in, sequentially confirming each on the App. It was a doddle and the app was easy to use. The wifi takes over from your router and establishes a new WiFi band, though the old one is there in the background if you want it. Now, if your looking for coverage - my main requirement - this system delivers. Each of the units can either link back to the main one that's plugged into your router, or can piggy back off the nearest signal if that is another disc. The app shows the linkage, and allows you reposition them if needed. Given that I needed to cover 4000 square feet of living space, the 3 units were invaluable. I saw some professional reviews criticised the provision and cost of 3 discs, but if you have a house that's much larger than average, you won't be sorry. The only advantage of the netgear omni seemed to be that the wifi signal has separate channels for communicating with the router and devices and is faster therefore. But given that the speeds it can achieve are faster than my fibre package, that didn't really help me. And my wifi extenders were Netgear ones so I was feeling a bit burnt trusting their products with the thick end of £400 WiFi coverage with this is fast, about 20-35 mbps at distance, which is good, considering the BT socket speed isn't much higher. Since I've had this I haven't had any problems with the signal, and issues have largely been due to my landline, as being in the countryside means this isn't always stable. That's just a fact of life. If your looking for a straight out of the box solution, from a big name reputable company, an want guaranteed coverage, then the current price of £250 is good value for something that is now an essential part of modern living.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for Fast Wi-Fi in every room Had this product a few weeks now and does exactly what it says it will do, great Wi-Fi across the whole house with no need to switch between router and extender, all happens automatically. Really simple to set up and app helps you select best location for each disc. Discs also look good and no issue with having them visible about the home.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great idea - shame about the size Can not comment on the operation of this system or overall Wi-Fi coverage as I never got to the setup stage of this product. On first receiving the box on delivery my first thoughts were how big the box was and it must be well packaged, on opening the box I was shocked at the size of the discs, their huge! For most people i would say these will be too big to have round the house, I'm sure most people will be like me and want to hide Wi-Fi routers away, I certainly don't want to display them in every room. These discs are around the size of a small dinner plate at around 20cm in diameter, not the small 10cm "cup rim" size your lead to believe they are based on images online and picture on the side of the box.

Does the 1st disc have 2 ethernet connections. I want to install this in a separate room from my router and already have CAT 6 cable installed for a hardwired connection directly back to the router and at the same time connect same disc to my TV

Asked by: PeterHW
The BT Whole WiFi only has one ethernet connection per unit.

I read that this system may not support Sonos devices. Is this the case and, if not, will it also support Amazon Echo?

Asked by: Bob1
Yes it works great with Sonos but you may have to reboot it after connecting the Sonos. It was a bit of the struggle to get right for our first Sonos but when we bought a second one later, no trouble at all.

I have 2 probs - BT Internet download speed averages 0.5 mbps, so am I wasting my money on this system? Cannot get signal on Android or Apple mobile in the house - if I download the app elsewhere can I then use the app to set up this system "offline"?

Asked by: Hallers
This system or any wifi booster will not help with slow downloads speeds it would simply boost the slow speed over a wider range.

Do you have to buy the 3 disc pack or can you just buy one

Asked by: cambler2602
Sorry I dont think this is answered. You can buy adhoc additional 1 unit disc's so my question is. Could you just buy 1 disc and run it with a BT Infinity opposed to buying 3 discs
Answered by: cambler2602

This doesn't answer the question unfortunately. Are the access point's PoE compatible i.e. 24v or high PoE 48v so we don't have to use the power supply and send power over the ethernet cable instead, we don't all have sockets in ceilings.
