What is an imager?
Get amazing views of the sky and record them on your PC with this imager. The Neximage is a 5 MP colour CMOS sensor with Micron DigitalClarity technology to take amazing images and videos. The imager has an aluminium 32mm (1.25 inch) adapter barrel with C-threads for a direct threaded connection to almost any telescopes and can be used with standard 32mm eyepiece filters.

What can I see with the imager?
Simply point your telescope at the moon or planets and attach the Neximage to record a video. The software analyses the video frame by frame, throws away fuzzy images and aligns the rest to create a beautiful, bright and clear image with maximum colour and detail. The imager is capable of 2x2 and 4x4 binning. Choose from nine different resolution settings ranging from 640x640 to 2592x1944 with this 5MP imager.

How do I connect the imager to my PC?
Connect the Neximage to a USB socket on your PC or laptop, view the images from your telescope on your screen and record them onto your PC. The imager comes with NexImage iCap and RegiStax processing software to let you edit and process your images as they come in. The software is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7. This is a perfect addition to your telescope even in areas with light pollution.
