Are these binoculars suitable for astronomical use please?

Asked by: Mike
Whilst they could be used they are not ideal. Typically you need a larger objective lens to allow more light in any of the Celestron Skymaster ones listed here would be great https://www.maplin.co.uk/search/?text=celestron+skymaster It's worth noting that astronomical Binoculars can be very heavy, they are much easier to use with a good Tripod and binocular mount.
