About this product

  • 4 Port Hub
  • USB 2.0 Full Speed
  • 40x faster than USB 1.1

Product overview

• 4 Port Hub
• USB 2.0 Full Speed
• 40x faster than USB 1.1
• Specifically design for desktop use
• Triangular design for better accessibility
• Adhesive back sticks to any surface

The triangular 4 port USB 2.0 hub is designed so the USB ports face upwards to enable better accessibility to the ports. The bottom of the hub has adhesive pads so it can stick to any surface making it skid proof. The hub can be used with both PC and Mac and has a recessed power port if your peripherals need additional power.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was disappointed to find that the hub does not include a power supply. The box notes that it 'has a recessed power port if your peripherals need additional power' which may or may not imply that the large rectangular box which is part of the packaging might just have a power supply in there. It doesn't. I find that the power supply is a further ?ъ19.99, which does not really make the purchase a bargain. I feel the packaging should be a great deal clearer in what is supplied. And that a cheaper power supply would be 'a good thing'. On the other hand, if you don't need additional power, it's fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work flawlessly, until... I bought this around a month ago and used it on my raspberry pi. It work as smooth as butter, until the hub did not want to light up. I don't know how to repair it, any advice?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The hub works well. It comes with a 5V input and I use it too, also with no problems. The triangular shape is quite practical.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only 1 ports work My external hard drive works on the first port but not on any of the other 3!!! Bonkers. Don't touch this hub. (I am a DJ and use Native Instruments hardware. When I plugged in 3 items only one was recognised by the hub!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does exactly what it says on the tin thought my 4hub wasn't detected on my 100s laptop(no detection/installing notifications in corner)so plugged in slim hd 1tb anyway and says I got it in but noshow in the "my Pc" window beside "c:" Then plugged in the 5v wire I got with cerulian 7hub and immediately the portable slim hd boots excellent piece of kit just has power issues then with some "power hungry" devices..make sure you fork out for a 5v plug for this for universaluseage?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay hub Hub as described on website. The cable length is not on the website - it is about 1 metre long. There is an input socket on the hub end for extra mains power using a device that would need to be purchased separately.

How long is the lead on this ? I need it to go from the back of my box to sit on the top as I can't get to the back without pulling the box out and the ports on the front are becoming very temperamental . Thank you

Asked by: ChrisB

Why do you have to plug it into your computer?

Asked by: byork123
This is designed to expand a single USB socket to 4 inputs. It may work with other devices, but a computer would already have the built in drivers to recognise the hub, we could not guarantee other devices would be compatible.

Does this charge iphone and ipads etc. If not can you recommend one that does (an USB charger, 4 ports if possible)

Asked by: Chris
The item in the link below would be better for charging.

Is there any difference between the 3xusb-connectors (and then the gap/greenlight) followed by 1xusb-connector (are they for different speeds or other reason. I have an existing 4 port USB and it slows down the connected devices; does this 4way do that?

Asked by: Maric
All 4 usb ports are to the same output specification.

Can it be plugged in to a USB wall plug socket

Asked by: Dave
This is for adding extra USB devices to a computer, it is not compatible with USB Plug sockets.

With my printer connected to the single USB and a bluetooth mouse & ethernet connected to the other USB's can i also connect my battery charger when needed to the remaining USB or do i have to unplug at laptop and connect there ?

Asked by: Russell
This would be splitting the available power between the 4 sockets, as such the final socket may not be providing the same amount of power output as the laptop socket itself, so we would not be able to guarantee this would work in your intended setup.
