Create a world of slow motion or add lighting to your special effects with this white strobe. 90 white LEDs in four zones come together to make a variable intensity light up to an illuminance of 250 lux at 2 m. You can time your light to the music using the sound to light mode and a built-in microphone. Get great coverage with a beam angle of 65 degrees and a field angle of 112 degrees. Link multiple lights together and control them with a DMX board or use as master/slave units. This light is also compatible with the IRC-6 controller (not included).
How can I mount the light?
You can use the supplied mount to set the light up in one of two ways. You can either hang it from a stand or leave it free-standing on the floor. With a light but robust die-cast body, the strobe weighs just 1.5 kg and can be fastened securely to a range of stands and rigs. The mount can also be used to lift the light off the ground, and the angle can be altered with the adjustment knobs. There are no moving parts so the light operates silently and the LEDs can last up to 50,000 hours. If you are mounting this product overhead, it is advisable to use a safety cable
Is this DMX controllable?
Use DMX channels 1, 5 or 8 to control the unit, or link more than one together and control them all. The light has LEDs in four different zones, so you can create programs that vary the light intensity as well as the timing of the strobes. You can power link up to 36 units together off 230V allowing you to link up large displays without running out of power sockets or running leads all over the place. To control the light you will require a three pin DMX lead (or XLR lead) - not included.
