I,m setting up a TV coaxcial network @home i already have your 6 port amp but want best products for digital signal round 4 xtra rooms i have ordered splitter qq70m but i,m woundering what cable to use.
Asked by: SHAUN
The answer from LS on the attenuation looks incorrect according to the figures provided: i.e. XS17T has an attenuation of 6.4dB per 100 metres at 100MHz compared with this cable (XS32K) which is stated as 1.5dB at 100MHz *per 10 metres* this is the equivalent of 15dB per 100 metres, so it is actually worse than XS17T.

How long is XS32K?
Asked by: Robert
This cable (like most of our cables) is priced per metre and is sold cut to length in units of 1m upto a maximum of 100m. It will be supplied in a single piece, so if you order 20 units, you will receive a 20m length. Order 100 x Order Code to get a 100m length on a reel, at a substantial saving. Is this cable the most suitable for a fixed marine vhf ?
Asked by: TLC
no I am afraid, it is not suitable for 2 reasons, first is, fixed marine radio's are 50 ohm impedance, and this cable is 75 ohms. And the second is, this cable isnt designed for high power transmission, which some fixed marine units are, outputs up to and in excess of 100 watts are common.
