The orb light comes with an included spike, which makes fixing it in a flowerbed, potted plant or along a border easy to do. The light has a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor that activates when daylight levels are low. It also has a colour change function, which gives you the ideal night lighting effect in your garden or on your patio and balcony.

How is this light powered?
The mini ice orb light has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This battery is recharged through the built-in solar panel, which is stored inside the glass orb and recharges the battery during daylight hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely I have never been in this shop but saw these lights on line on offer fo 3 for 2 So popped into the local shop and bought the last 3 I was so impressed I have ordered 9 more online to collect in store when they arrive Probable the best lights I've had in the garden and a bargain at the moment

Where exactly is the " pull tab on the underside of the solar panel " that one is instructed to remove before use ? . Ive purchased three of your Mini Ice Orbs and cannot find/detect where these tabs are .

Asked by: Paul
If you pull the metal tube away from the bowl, the small strip of plastic is there and has to be removed for the solar panel to begin charging the battery.

Do these lights have a white light function as well as the multicolured one? Mine only change colour and I can find no switch to change this to clear (ie: white).

Label. Says remove tab from underside of solar panel.  I cannot see a tab - do I have to remove panel to find it?  Tiny red flashing light when sunlight but lamp does not shine in the dark

Asked by: Baffled granny
No, the tab should be on the outside of the item.

Mine are not lighting up, just brought 3, instructions say remove pull tab on the underside of solar panel, does that mean I have to unscrew it the panel to get to it?

Asked by: Judy00
You twist and pull down the metal stem and it exposes the battery compartment and you will see the tab sticking out. You don't need to unscrew the base of the light and you just push and twist the stem back on. Sorted :)

Have got 4 of these lights. Where is the strip of plastic that is supposed to be removed? Does the light have to be dismantled to find it? Dorothy

Asked by: Dorothy
This may be refering tho the piece of plastic that prevents the batteries from working , if there is no strip of plastic from the battery compartment then this may have already been removed .
