What can you do with this kit?
Can you get your ball to float and defy gravity? With 13 parts this is a fun and simple kit to assemble. Use the air blower to make your ball float and experiment with lighter objects and different shapes (not included) to see how weight and shape can affect how an object floats (take care not to block the air blower).

What does this teach?
Every object on earth is pulled toward the centre of the planet by the force of gravity. In order to make an object float you need a force pushing upwards with more force than the gravity pulling it down. The turbo air Connect 38803N kit blows air out and this creates lift to let the ball rise up - the same principle that lets aeroplanes fly.

Mix and match with Connex
Be creative with your kit by mixing components with other Connex kits (take care to match power requirements). No soldering is required with this kit, all the components can be connected using the supplied wires fitting into the springs on the board. No need to worry about losing pieces, the kit comes in a box that doubles as a base to assemble the kit on and a storage box when you tidy it away. This kit requires two AA batteries (sold separately Order Code <L43AL>).

This kit should be used with adult supervision and assistance and is suitable for children aged 8 and over.
