How much air does this fan move and is it loud?
If you’re looking for fans that can move large amounts of air while generating little noise, then these Corsair AF120 fans are perfect for you. Both fans have been set to spin at 1100RPM to produce a fantastic airflow of 39.88CFM throughout your case. Additionally, rubberised corners give you sound damping properties when standard screws are used, with this generating 21dBA of noise for quiet operating.

How do I change the fan speed?
Included with this fan is a voltage step-down adapter which lowers and fixes the voltage of the fan from 12V to 7V. Reducing the voltage of the fan like this causes the fan to spin more slowly and produce less noise.

Where should I place these fans?
This fan performs best when they are affixed in unrestricted spaces. Designed with high airflow generation in mind, this fan is capable of moving 39.88CFM of air. You could place them at the rear or the top of your PC case as exhaust fans for your rig’s motherboard, CPU, graphics card and other components that fill your case with heat. Alternatively, you can fix them to your side panel or bottom intake fan mounting positions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Airflow And Quiet I have had this fan for about a month now to replace my cheap 99p fan which was horrible and the performance of this fan is great i use it as an exhaust on the back of my case and its pretty much silent the only fan i can hear is my graphics card's dual fans and they are pretty quiet also. You can always rely on corsair and there always quality products i would recommend this as it will last for years and my pc is on 24 hours a day.

I can't see why not if its a 120mm fan you are trying to replace.
