About this product

Product overview

• 750W of continuous power gives you plenty of headroom for overclocking, running two graphics cards and future upgrades
• ATX form factor allows the power supply to be connected to almost any motherboard and fits in most standard cases
• Semi-modular design means you only use the cables you require, improving airflow
• Produces 42dBA at full load for a quiet computing experience
• 85% efficient with a 80 PLUS bronze rating, providing you with a very efficient power supply
• Manufacturer part number: CP-9020061-UK

What can I run from this power supply?
This 750W power supply is capable of running high end computer systems that will be overclocked, have two graphics cards (in SLI or CrossFire), some extra components and still leave you with room for upgrading (or a computer system that already has these features). The power supply is very efficient and runs quietly due to its large fan, providing you with low energy wastage and a quiet experience. If you ever want to upgrade to more power hungry components you can with this power supply supplying you with more than enough power.

How quiet and efficient is this power supply?
This Corsair power supply comes with an 80 PLUS bronze efficiency rating, which means that the power supply must be at least 80% energy efficient at various loads. The CX750M is approximately 85% efficient, which means that it wastes roughly 15% of electrical energy as heat. The large diameter, thermally controlled fan makes this power supply quieter at lower loads, while the large diameter reduces noise when you're pushing your system hard. Under a full load this power supply produces 42dBA of noise giving you a quiet computing experience.

How does the semi-modular design benefit me?
The semi-modular design of this power supply comes supplied with only the necessary cables attached. In this case the motherboard and CPU power cords have already been connected to the power supply for you. With the remaining cables you only need to plug in the ones that you need, improving the airflow and aesthetic look of your build as there are fewer extra cables hanging around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Power Supply, it's easily powering an XFX HD 7950, an AMD FX-4170 and a case full of fans; with a fan controller. It handles so well and is incredibly quiet, even while playing games like Grand Theft Auto IV and Hitman Absolution. Easily a five star piece of kit, especially for a budget component.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 750 Watt Corsair replaces 780 Watt G7! Kit: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 m/board; AMD FX4170; 20G 1600 MHz RAM; Radeon 5400 series graphics card; couple of SSDs; couple of RAID1 array HDD pairs; further non-RAID HDD; LG DVD/RW The G7 PSU actually failed through overheating of the 4-pin power connector to the processor! [melted the plastic around one pin] Cure: replaced with this here Corsail product (after cleaning-out the debris from the motherboard socket!) result - machine performs well, and is much quieter into the bargain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Going back, too noisy Bought this yesterday from Maplins Teesside to replace a failed PSU. Assembly was quite easy, but the cables (mainly sata) could have been a few inches longer as I have had to rearrange by SSD's positioning within my case. Also the cables are not very flexible either. Never mind I thought, as when my case side is on I am never going to see them for a long time, so wasn't too bothered. Switched the computer on and all was good. It was very quite and ran as it should. This morning I fired up Call Of Duty AW and my lord the sound from it is unbearable. Not stupidly loud, but just a high pitched whining/crackling and not acceptable for an item like this and I cant live with this at all. My older cheapo Jeantech PSU was silent under load (but had a louder fan when not under load), but this is ridiculous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect. The PSU is brilliant apart from when it is under load, It seems to do a high pitch whine when it is under load but this doesn't affect me because I wear headphones whenever I am on.

Hi, will this power supply be good enough to run my new EVGA geforce GTX670.I would need 2x 6 pin pci connectors for the graphics card. My system is a HP Pavillian with 12gb DDR3 with an i7 quadcore cpu 3.2ghz 8 layer. My mother board is an IPM87-MP.Thanks

Go to pcpartpicker and add in each of these components into a "new build" it will show you the required wattage but keep at least 100watts for headroom gap

Hi. My motherboard has a 4 pin socket for power and I don't have any cables with the power supply that would fit. Do you sell a suitable cable for this?

Asked by: John
You will find that the 8 pin CPU power cable splits into 2 x 4 pin cables.
