Will this be the right cooler for me?
This Hydro Series H55 all-in-one CPU liquid cooler is perfect for cooling your CPU and will fit in even the most compact of cases thanks to its small components and flexible rubber tubing. The closed-loop design has been pre-filled with coolant and can be installed straight away, as thermal paste has already been pre-applied. Provided with the cooler is a fan that spins at 1700RPM, which results in 30.32dBA of noise, 1.9mm/H2O of static pressure and the movement of 57 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air. This is a good amount of airflow to keep the coolant and CPU cool.

The radiator can be installed in most 120mm fan mounts, making it usable in a range of cases. At only 27mm thick, not a lot of space is taken up by the radiator and also means that the airflow it needs is reduced, keeping noise production to a minimum. In addition, the pump unit (cooling block) is of a low-profile design, which helps to reduce the space needed, makes installation easier and improves general airflow in your case.

What is this compatible with?
Modular, tool-free mounting brackets are included and thermal paste is already pre-applied to aid in quick installation. This water cooler is compatible with both Intel and AMD sockets, such as Intel LGA 2011 and LGA 115x (LGA 1151, LGA 1150, LGA 1155, LGA 1156) and AMD socket AM3 and AM2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great budget liquid cooler! I have an AMD FX 6300 which ships with a notoriously inferior heatsink and fan. I decided to spend the extra and bump up to this H55 in order to keep my new case both quiet and cooler, I was unsure how effective this cooler would be but I am extremely satisfied. The highest temperature I have seen so far is 41oC and that was with all my case fans off, and only the radiator fan turned on. The fan is loud when on full power, but if you can adjust the voltage with fan control hardware like I have, then it runs both quietly and cool. Overall I would certainly recommend without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed Having bought a new computer with top line specs I was really dissapointed when it came with a stock cooler, that didnt cool at all. My cpu was at 40-50 temps when just web browsing. I installed this, having never really messed around with the internals of computers before, in about half an hour. My temps are now a cool 8-10 degrees and the sound is very very low especially compaired to my stock cooler!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way Beyond my expectations Well, I was dubious that this could perform, I have a Quad Core phenom II x4 system with 6Gb Ram, SLI graphic Cards and the usual DVDRW etc.etc.etc. heat was becoming an issue and the BSOD showed it's ugly head. So I did so e researching and although this item got some good reviews, it also had a few stating noises from pump & Fan. So I took the plunge, as soon as unpacked, it is a superb designed bit of kit, the radiator and fan Assembly is quite bulky. The CPU cooling end is an impressive design, read the instructions and fits together very easily, Search YouTube and there is a great video of the installation. In my case, I had to remove a small part of the case to allow a nice positioning of the radiator, the two electrical connectors are three Pin and easy fin attachments. Then the startup, no filling or priming as it come ready to go. Powered up the system and immediately once the fan had reduced by the BIOS, there was no strange noises, very very quite and so I left it for 20 minutes, as time went on the fan speed reduced until it was so quite. Then I moved on to temps. Using hardware monitoring software, with the stock heatsink & fan running MS Flightsim X with all details set to UltraDense the temp was high 60c, occasionally hitting 70c Running the same test with the Corsair Hydro Series H55 the four cores are running between 30-40c. I am so impressed, it's not a massive amount of money, about twice the cost of a good stock heatsink & Fan but it way surpasses my expectations after reading some reviews.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet and efficient This is ideal for people who want to keep their multicore Intel and AMD processors cool, has all you need to get going and no worrying about fluid refills. Very easy to install and make quite a bit of space available for better airflow and cooling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cooling I've just fitted my h55 and I am over the moon. I am getting much better temperatures, before 20c idle 60c stress testing now, on idle 6c and stress testing 40c. This is on an overclocked amd fx 4100.
