Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny. I've put off buying a mechanical keyboard for at least 5 years, simply because of the cost. I mean £100+ on a keyboard because it has a mechanical switch rather than a membrane? It cannot be that good surely?! During this time I've probably bought 3/4 different membrane keyboards as they kept on dying on me one way or another. So when I saw this on the black Friday sales for around £125 I thought sod it. I'll take the plunge. Well, Immediately I could see why they cost so much. The build quality was better than anticipated, the brushed metal finish sitting behind the keys allows the small but powerful RGB's to ripple off and give out a lot of light, (when compared to previous RGB keyboards I've had) The keys themselves aren't flat, they have a slight dimpled effect of the standard keys to reduce any slip, of course they have also included some gaming key specific keys as well. Even the cable is shrouded form the keyboard right up to the specially moulded USB's (there's 2 since the keyboard also has a pass through port on the back of the keyboard, neat little extra) My gaming performance also drastically increased, no longer was I Mr fat fingers, hitting prone rather than crouch. Finally, after I'd finished staring at this masterpiece I plugged it in, installed corsairs dedicated software and started to play around with the RGB settings. This is where you can get extremely creative and also massively carried away when you spend far too much time creating a cool light sequence rather than shredding your favorite game. Luckily if you don't have a creative bone in your body, like me, there are plenty of premade ones on corsairs site. There's plenty to choose from!! Just buy it, you wont regret it.
