The side mounted unidirectional noise cancelling microphone will allow you to communicate with your squad clearly, and can be adjusted to your needs When you’re done you can raise the microphone to prevent damage when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, the best headset in the price range on the market today by far... I wanted a gaming headset which had a very good mic and had good audio, so when I saw this one I went for it and it is one of the best pieces of tech gaming wise I have ever used... 7.1 surround gaming headset audio is really taken advantage of in games and listening to music is just amazing... Would recommend, in my opinion this is the best headset I have ever used and is the best one for under Ј60 - Amazing buy...!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! These headphones for me are awesome. I see people giving them bad reviews but in my case I think they are definitely worth the money. Some questions I had I feel I should answer in this review because I brought these headphones not knowing what I was in for. This headset works brilliantly with PC games. For example Counter Strike and Call Of Duty, these games are crucial for hearing footsteps, and these headphones will not let you down for hearing small sounds. They are very clear and you can easily tell which way the enemy is coming from. These headphones cancel out surrounding background noise very well and are EXTREMELY comfortable. These headphones work brilliantly on Laptops, and i wasn't sure how well they would work without an audio jack, but they work perfect. I'm extremely impressed with these headphones and would recommend these for anyone who is looking for a cheap, professional headset.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent Value for Money. It's cheap, sounds great and is all day comfortable. It has never been uncomfortable even when worn for 2-3 day gaming/work marathons. That said, the mic is awful. It is difficult to adjust right and pics up a pin drop from the other side of the street. Not good for teamspeak with someone else in the same house never mind room. After a good few months (10) started to get connection issues. Prevented this by taping cardboard around the control box, which worked for a while. One day I couldn't breathe without the sound disconnecting. As it's USB this means you have to restart the game and/or media. I opened up the inline controls to see if I could solder repair it and was shocked. Awful workmanship. Dry joints and burnt wires. The cable retention mould is part of the insulation so you can't even strip the wires to start fresh. That said, for £35 quid, it's lasted well over a year and is very good for that price point. Nothing in that price bracket or even up to £50 can touch it. *5 for value *3 for overall quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from grabage bought it today only to find that neither the mic nor the surround works on win 10 nor does the manufacturer have any intentions of updating the drivers (their own words), so its pretty useless at best and a headache at worse

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Headset After the first headset was broken. Maplin replaced it. Since then the headset is great. 7.1 really does work. The mic isn't all that great but for a cheap gaming headset it's well worth the money

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good sound terrible microphone I bought these thinking they would be pretty good considering the reputation of corsair and the reviews, when I the headset and installed the drivers it wasn't long till I started to see problems the main one being the microphones quality for starters it picks up WAY to much static and it is not noise cancelling at all it picks up noise from downstairs with ease which is the opposite to what they advertise. All in all this headset is only good for audio and not even the virtual surround sound just for stereo audio which a headset from poundland could do just as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap and nasty Had 2 from this same product now. Both broken within first 1month because the materials used to make them are cheap in my opinion. First set only knocked off a very low side table and the headphone part that goes over the head part broke.. Second pair The mic part just came away from the unit. This really is a very poorly made product. My advice stay clear! and buy something else. Very shocked that Corsair would release such a awful product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not work with speech recognition This is a good headset, at a good price point, comfy to wear and provides 7.1 sound when using the software which you need to download from Corsair's website. The down-side to the current software is that once installed, it breaks the built-in Microsoft Speech recognition software, which is not good at all. The installation of the software brings up warnings about it not being digitally signed, which is just Corsair.
