What can I do with the LISIPAROI light ring?
The perfect accessory for low-light images or taking pictures in total darkness (0 lux). Use this light ring for amazing night time photography, overnight time lapses or even security applications. The infrared light ring can be quickly and easily attached to your Pi-Noir camera (not included) with its mounting points. The ring can be used as a steady light source or as a flash and comes with additional mounting points if you wish to mount the ring.

How does the ring work?
The LISIPAROI IR light ring comes with 12 infrared LEDs arranged around the module to give you the best possible light coverage for your camera. Using PWM or varying your voltage from 0-3 volts you can alter the LEDs light intensity. The ring comes with the fixing to attach it to you Pi-Noir module.
The standard camera module comes with an infrared filter and is incompatible with the LISIPAROI infrared light ring

Rated 4 out of 5 by from IR light. Good but with room for improvement I bought the item to go with the official Pi IR camera. It produces some manor of light but gets quite hot, but that said, it is emitting infra red so... Like any torch it isn't so directional without a lens but perhaps this would be an improvement for a future version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its a light, but not enought to light a room. My expectaions might have been over high. The light was ok and with a long exposure one can get a no ir rasberry pi to take pictures in the dark. Probably ok for short range or enclosed projects.
