Special features
• Water dances to the beat of your music, creating a dazzling light show to brighten any space

What can these speakers do?
Add a splash of colour and motion to any occasion with these dancing water speakers. The water dances to the sound of your favourite music, jumping higher and higher as the music gets louder. The water jets are illuminated by coloured LEDs, creating a dazzling light show in time to the music. These speakers can be used anywhere, but try using them in a darker room for the most impressive effects.

How do they connect?
Plug these speakers into your computer or laptop USB socket for power. You can listen to any device through these speakers, using the 3.5mm headphone socket or audio-out port. With them weighing just 720g and needing only 65mm x 65mm of space, you can take these speakers wherever you go.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AVOID AT ALL COST These are a complete joke! One didn't even have any water in it, and the one that did LEAKED out within an hour of usage! Goes without saying how dangerous that is - if I haven't notice the leakage my laptop would've been fried. If that isn't off-putting enough, during the supposed 'water dancing' the speakers make a sound each time the water (even without water) is meant to shoot up, which makes this product just plain useless. Just shocking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine Got these speakers ages ago, don't know what you'd expect from 7 pound water speakers but for me they're fine. No problems other than the screeching sound, which was fixed by just swapping the USB cable. I only really use them for aesthetics as I have a 7.1 audio setup which produces most of the sound. Overall they have been fine, does what I'd expect without much fuss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Having gone through 3 faulty sets of equivalent product from Argos we fell upon these by chance and what a bonus it was. Reserved stock in store and collected, had read the negative reviews so checked product and all good, straight home into teenage daughters bedroom and these were up and running in sub 5 mins. No leaks no issues and water bounces merrily at low volume levels, and on offer at £12-99 whats not to like. My advice is don't get put off by the limited reviews, i am impressed with them and daughters happy..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All water gone and making wired noises I have these speakers and they had been working ok for a while but I noticed the water going down in them until the point where the water wouldnt bounce anymore and it has started making screeching noises and dog bark sounding noises randomly aswell, very poor quality, complete waste of money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought them as they looked like a fun gimmick, however Such a shame, not very good quality in the slightest, the jets worked, but being speakers you would expect sound... well i got sound but it was a nasty static sound, i tried this on multiple things and still the same, get rid Maplins this product is terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money Obviously you can't expect the best speakers for the price, but these speakers don't work at all. At first the water didn't work, now it does but there is no sound, just a weird noise. I am returning these and asking for a refund. I was really excited about these because they looked quite pretty in store but the actual product is a joke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible The sound quality was terrible, the water leaked out and there was a constant fuzz. When the water was meant to dance, the speakers just made a noise and the lights that wearnt faulty turned on. Terrible.

How much water should there be in the speaker and what’s the lowest volume necessary for the water to start bouncing?

The volume of the liquid is not provided, and volume that the device would vary depending on how high the device output is.
