How far apart are the two straps?

Asked by: Mark
I know that the brackets are 34cm front to back. Thanks for that, but my question is how far apart the straps are, not how long the brackets are.

How do you figure out the circumference of a pc

Asked by: PavM
As long as the length of the width and height of the case come too 1800mm or less then this would be suitable.

What is the depth of metal bracket/how far apart are the two straps? (I want to make sure that I will be able to support a mini-tower PC between them)

Asked by: Aeris146
The two halves of the bracket are not connected (other than by the straps) so they can be mounted at any distance apart, the total maximum circumference of the straps remains the same. As long as the total outer circumference of the item you wish to mount does not exceed 1800mm it will fit.

Desk top is only 20mm thick, recommendation states 25mm minimum. If shorter screws were used would it be sufficient.
Asked by: Sue Bintliff
Alternatively, cut a small panel of MDF, your choice of thickness, to the size of the mounting panel and use a longer screw, as appropriate, combined with a couple of short screws to secure the panel in place
