My current sped of downloads is 36MB and uploads 1.8MB will these help me boost my speed. To which satellite company are they connected too?

Asked by: Wattsy
Hi Wattsy- I don't blame anyone for being confused- the product description for this device is dreadful. I _think_ that it's offering a way to extend the range of your network within your house. So if you're seeing those speeds when sat right next to your router or wired to it with ethernet they're not going to help at all. The reference to "satellite" seems to be just a description of one of the pair of devices. I think you get 1 "base unit" that you would wire to your router with an ethernet cable, and 1 "satellite unit" that you'd put elsewhere in your house where your wifi was slow. Hey Maplin- you're going to get a bunch of returns from disappointed customers on this product- you might want to sort out a description for humans!
