• Converts a standard TOSlink plug to mini-TOSlink plug

Simply clip this onto the end of a standard TOSlink lead to allow it to be plugged into MD players, etc. that use the 3.5mm miniplug optical connector. 3.5mm mini plug is also know as a Mini-TOSlink connector

Will the 3.5 mm connector plug into a headphone socket and then the toslink lead into the other end?

Will the mini-TOSlink plug work with connecting a PS2 to a set of PC speakers with a 3.5mm socket plug?
Asked by: Tony
No, not likely. Toslink is for optical digital audio, your speakers probably have a standard analogue stereo input.

was wondering if i get the one with 3.5mm(F) TOS(M) and plug it into my tv throught the digital audio output and connect my analogue speakers to the 3.5mm jack will it work.
Asked by: amit
No, sorry this product does not support that. You would need to convert the digital signal to an analogue one first.
