What makes this amplifier different?
This portable amplifier lets you play your guitar almost anywhere, as you can practice without disturbing anyone when you need to. It will accommodate guitars that have a 1/4-inch out port and will output up to 0.7W of sound. This amplifier is highly portable, as it is powered by a 9V DC power supply (sold separately) or a 9V PP3 battery. You can also choose between the default clean sound or turn on an overdrive effect.

How can I use this without disturbing anyone?
Located on the side is a 1/4-inch headphone socket, which you can use to listen to the music you are playing privately. Through an appropriate adapter, you can also use 3.5mm jack headphones (for example Order Code: RK55K or Order Code: N89AN for a gold plated version). With your headphones plugged in, you can strum to your heart’s content without having to disturb anyone around you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DJ- TECH UA Mini The amplifier is quite a decent bit of kit - I've tested this using an electric uke and an electric guitar. both instruments contrast what kind of sound I heard: - The electric uke was quite quiet on the 'clean' setting; putting the electric uke to OD made it to bright and you could hear the string vibrating without playing it. - The electric guitar was decent - it could very much be the fact that I need a better guitar, but it sounded okay for such a diddy little thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smokin' Signals? On the clean channel I thought this tiny amp was very good. Nice sound. I didn't really use the overdrive because the clean channel had the sound i wanted. Use the clean but don't bother with the overdrive is my comment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this item, not to play a guitar through, but for my school science dept to use as a general and compact low level amp. We use it for amplifying the signal from a model fibre-optic radio and for upping the output of a geiger counter. Belts out the sound for all the class to hear. Sorry if this is off the wall, but it is more than a guitar amp and is good value for money as far as I am concerned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little amp I bought this for listening to podcasts in the van, a bit of a noisy place to begin with! Big enough to sit still under it's own weight yet small enough to fit in my glovebox, and decent battery life with some good rechargeable batteries. Well worth the price, unless you want to crank it up to 10 (yeah it just distorts and sounds bad...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from miles better than expected! I bought this for practicing my guitar without bothering my wife. For the price, I am astounded with how well it performs. Plugged speakers into the headphone jack and made the windows shake too!
