The best bits of the Inspire 1 – but better
The Inspire 2 takes all of the best bits of the Inspire 1 and makes them better. An all-new image processing system can record at up to 5.2K. The Inspire 2 can do 0 to 50 miles per hour in only five seconds and can reach a staggering top speed of 58 miles per hour – that’s 94 kilometres per hour. With advanced speed and agility, this quadcopter will challenge any aircraft of its size. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2, which provides it with obstacle avoidance in two directions and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds a number of intelligent flight modes which give even solo pilots the ability to create stunning, complex action shots. The upgraded video transmission system now brings you dual signal frequency and dual channel, so you can stream video from both the on-board FPV camera and an attached main camera simultaneously.

Improved material and design
The previous plastic Inspire 1 shell has been made much more elegant with an upgrade to the grey magnalium shell that houses the Inspire 2, offering higher strength and a lighter weight. The T-junctions in the airframe connections have been manufactured from carbon fibre, which creates a much more integrated design, further reducing the drone’s weight and making the Inspire 2 look more refined than its predecessor. The front of the quadcopter features a two-axis gimbal stabilised global shutter first person view camera. It boasts a controllable pitch range of 0 to 60 degrees, which partnered with its brushless gimbal almost completely eliminates picture shake, leaving a clear view.

Upgraded battery for better performance
The Inspire 2 offers a maximised flight time of up to 27 minutes thanks to its dual battery system, with self-heating technology allowing you to fly even in really low temperatures. The dual battery design uses two 98 Watt batteries to give the Inspire 2 a greatly extended flight time. The batteries are connected in parallel, so if one should fail during flight, the other is then able to provide power for a safe return. These batteries offer higher performance and a higher density battery cell as well as an overall larger capacity than the previous Intelligent Flight Battery. The built-in 70 Watt self-heating system is capable of heating itself to up to 5°C every minute. You can enable the self-heating function automatically or manually to optimise performance in low temperatures. The management unit will constantly monitor the battery status, and you can view the relevant data using the DJI GO 4 app.

Enhanced control and avoidance
The Inspire 2 has forward and downward facing dual stereo vision systems to allow the quadcopter to sense obstacles from a distance of up to 30 metres away. This fantastic combination allows both wide angle and long range view, which assists in accurately calculating the braking distance, allowing you to fly at greater speeds without sacrificing obstacle avoidance. Additional infrared sensors on the top of the drone can sense up to five metres above the aircraft to add extra protection when flying in enclosed areas. The Inspire 2 offers a stereo vision system which can calculate the difference in height between the aircraft and its terrain during auto-landing, as well as scan the terrain in real-time to ensure that it is suitable to land on.
