The Dyson DC39 Multifloor is a bagless, cylinder vacuum cleaner that is packed full of special features. The hygienic bin emptying feature empties the bin with just a push of a button. With Dyson Ball technology and Root Cyclone technology, the DC39 is easy to use, empty and is economical too, with no need to buy replacement dust bags. The dual mode floor tool is adjustable to easily remove dirt across different floor types. The Multifloor is certified asthma and allergy friendly by Allergy Standards Limited. The certification program requires that the Dyson undergoes an independent program of rigorous testing to evaluate the removal of allergens from carpets, levels of airborne allergens during vacuuming, filtration integrity, cleaning performance when the bin is almost full and the risk of allergen exposure during bin emptying. The DC39 meets and exceeds the strict criteria for all of these tests. With acoustic engineering the Multifloor has been awarded the quiet mark for high sound quality without compromise to performance.
What is Dyson Ball technology?
Dyson’s unique ball technology, which allows you to turn the vacuum cleaner on the spot, and follows you effortlessly around the home without awkward movements. All of the vacuum’s key components are housed within the ball itself, including all of the electronics, the motor, the pre-motor filter and the power cable. This design creates a low centre of gravity and provides great stability. Dyson Ball cylinder vacuums have a central steering mechanism, and it is this which means it will follow you accurately as you pull it along.
What is Radial Root Cyclone technology?
The DC39 features Radial Root Cyclone technology which uses remodelled airflows to capture more dirt and microscopic dust in the bin. Traditional vacuum cleaners rely on bags to trap the dust and dirt; however, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bags with use over time. Some bagless vacuums use a central filter to trap fine dust, however in a similar way, these filters can also clog. This causes a loss in suction and much less effective cleaning. Dyson’s patented cyclone technology captures more dirt using remodelled airflows to maximise suction power. Improved flow efficiency reduces turbulence and preserves air pressure, so more particles are extracted by the inner cyclones. These refinements help to remove more allergens, dust and pet hair from the home.
