Decorated with a selection of inputs ,the E-Blue Cadena+ supports SD, SDHC, Mini-SD, Micro SD, MMC, MMC Plus, MMC, RS MMC, MS, MS Duo and M2. It offers up to 480 mbps transfer speeds, with the read and write speeds determined by your memory card.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product with neat USB cable design that folds up into body for storage. Need to ensure cards are inserted into slots carefully as they are multi-type and don't always seem to guide card in straight. Been using for over two years and still working well. Great buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Odd design I bought this to replace a failed connector, which was of the more traditional USB memory-stick design - with a rigid usb connection. This has a short. flexible usb lead. As a result, it sits oddly against the front of the PC while connected, and with my laptop it's a bit awkward, since the USB ports are close to the base of the laptop. I'm a bit worried about it lasting very long as a result, but in terms of photo file transfer, it is reasonable quick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading features The name "56 in 1" implies 56 types of memory card and therefore probably everything available. Certainly the staff think its the most comprehensive card reader available. Does not do XD or CF. To be fair the spec list only boasts 11 types of card and doesn't specify either XD or CF, but for the uninitiated buying for another person the name is seriously misleading and the staff at Sutton need to learn how to read and advise customers correctly. Gets three stars because it probably works fine, but is missing 2 card types

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Been using this to transfer the RAW files from my Nikon Camera via a 32gb SDHC And until now has been working fine, all be it a little on the slow side. That said I've never had more than 100 files to be moved, until now that is and the reader is not able to open for some reason. And it has nothing to do with the sd card as I have used other methods to access the stored data

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this card reader two months ago and it worked fine out of the packet. Tried it again yesterday and it would not activate. Took it back to Maplins who changed it for a new one without question. The light glowed blue for a few seconds then went blank and there is no further life in it. So it will have to be returned for a credit note as I will not be trying another one. Very disappointing

Unfortunately this product does not support Compact Flash style memory cards. You would need this model for CF Ultra style cards: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/33-in-1-card-readerwriter-a33fb
