The engage hub kit provides you with all you need to start monitoring your energy use through the engage online platform. Through this new technology it is now possible for you to view your home energy anytime, from anywhere!

How it works
The engage hub is simple to install and use. A small sensor is clipped on to the supply cables in your breaker panel. A lead from the sensor is connected to the efergy transmitter, which then wirelessly sends real time data to the engage hub. The engage hub is connected to your internet router via Ethernet cable. When you go online to the Efergy web portal or onto your smartphone app, the router wirelessly uploads your energy data and converts this data into kilo-watt hours. The web platform or app will then show you how much energy you are using in the same units that are on your bill. You can also see how much energy you are saving compared to other web platform users, compare energy saving tips, and set energy consumption targets

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but could do better I bought this to find out how much power the house was using over night. I bought this under the miss understanding the device allows both day and night rates to be taken into account but the app doesn't allow it. The hub does not store information for down load later so if you loose the internet NO data is downloaded. The Hub seems to download data every 20seconds or so which surprised me - I wait to see if this constant internet access starts to cause a problem for other devices trying to access the net. The App is very limited, the only input you have is some personal data and the cost per unit. Little information comes with the unit and there is little on the internet which is annoying. The unit offers an estimated £ usage value but there is on information to tell you how this is derived or even what it means. The unit promises a great deal, I just hope new software is on the way although there is no information anywhere suggesting this is likley. Why can't there be a Current Ampere Chart? they know the Kwh rate and voltage so whats the problem?. This could be so much better. Alan
