Connect to your console and enjoy seamless recordings in glorious 1080p high definition with a 60Hz refresh rate. Broadcast your gaming experience without latency, in-game lag or stutter, and give your viewers an experience they won’t soon forget.

Connect in seconds
The Elgato HD60 S allows you to jump in and begin recording with extreme ease. You can use a combination of HDMI connections for consoles such as Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Wii U. With the new reversible USB 3.0 type C connection, you can connect directly to your PC and be confident that your setup is correctly connected.

Superspeed USB 3.0
Now featuring USB 3.0 technology, the Elgato HD60 S uses faster speeds and low latency technology to transfer data. This lets you livestream with a constant framerate, allowing you to offer high quality content for your viewers.

Take command of your gaming sessions
The Elgato HD60 S uses ‘Stream Command’ software which allows you to completely customise the way you broadcast your media.
Add your webcam, alerts and in game overlays to professionally present your content. Add your voice into the mix using the built-in live commentary feature, meaning you don’t have to use separate programs for audio recordings.

Never miss a moment
A great feature about the Elgato HD60 S is the ability to record at all times with the ‘Flash-Back’ feature, even without pressing the record button, so each moment is caught first time, every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The HD60 S is the streamers friend Brilliant card (although it's not actually a card is it...) works flawlessly, although it might require the user to read SOME instructions if they aren't familiar with streaming technology (as another reviewer obviously didn't). Saying that, it can be as simple of complex as you need it to be. The Elgato software looks pretty basic and will just stream to Twitch without you doing anything fancy. But if you know what you're doing, you can use it to crerate a whole virtual studio, green screen backgrounds, activity triggered sprites, layers and titles. Just like the pro's, because it's what a lot of pro's use. What I think the other reviewer missed was the fact that streaming really needs a decent uplink. So if you live in the middle of nowhere and have a rubbish connection, you might need to tweak bitrates and other techie stuff to get the best out of it. But to be honest, if you have a rubbish connection, don't stream. Just get the HD60 and prerecord your footage, then upload it later. The HD60 S is best for streaming because it has USB 3.0. The HD60 (not S) has onboard video compression, so you can capture footage and have it in a manageable format before you edit it. Horses for courses. Oh and because it's not a card, iyt's portable. So you can go to a mates house and stream from there if you want. You'll want a decent laptop though. Check the minimum specs, basically if you don't have USB 3.0 it's a good clue to go for the HD60 instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dissapointed Beautifully well made unit, works exactly as described, however the Elgato software is awful. On every recording I made the audio would drift out of sych. The PC I was using had specification well beyond the recommended so it wasn't my other equipment. A quick search on the 'net revealed the same for many users.
