What can I make with this kit?
With this kit, you can build your own forklift truck, an SUV, a moving grabber claw starting grid and even a car. Robots are used everywhere, from mega factories to space, so why not try your hand at making your own robots and programming them to carry out tasks?
You can control the specific movements of your robot with three motors, or use the IR sensor it can detect objects or follow a line. The motors can run independently of each other so you can have separate pincer or lifting motions. The kit includes five LED blocks and a touch sensor to give you even more options. Choose from eight different designs with instructions then use the 281 pieces to create your own designs. Fun for anyone ages eight to 16.

What comes in this kit?
Control this robot from your computer, phone or using the ERP controller directly. The ERP controller can be plugged into the USB port on your computer or you can use the membrane buttons to program the robot directly on the controller. With seven input-output ports you can connect up to seven LED lights, four digital or analogue sensors and up to three motors (servo or analogue). The ERP controller comes with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-MO+ micro controller, 256kb of flash memory and 64kb of RAM.

What software is included?
In addition to the pieces you’ll need to create your robot, the Robotic Mini ERP 1.2 kit comes with ERP 1.2 software, which allows you to program your robots from your computer. The ERP 1.2 software is easy to use, even for beginners, and introduces children to programming in a fun way with clear programming blocks. The software has a large library of functions and comes with a text editor, so anyone looking to move into language- based programming can see exactly what they’re doing. ERP can even be controlled rom a smartphone via Bluetooth (available for Android and iOS)

What more can I do with this kit?
The Engino kits use a unique design with blocks capable of building in three dimensions, fixed joints, pivots and extendable rods allowing you to combine them to make almost anything. All parts snap easily together to make building simple. Each Engino kits is compatible with the others in the range letting you add to your models. This kit comes with a booklet with instructions, information on robotics and activities to try so you can see what you’re learning. Learn and create with these fun kits, the only limit is your imagination.

What is STEM and how does this help my child?
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. These subjects focus on an applied approach to learning, allowing more practical-based education instead of theory. This encourages children to learn how to construct items utilising the basics of the above subjects. By engaging your child, you can encourage learning and development and potentially take the first steps down a rich and varied career path.
