Product overview

• Spinning at 5,000RPM, just 21dBA of noise is emitted so it’s quiet
• Moves 5.22 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air, producing good airflow around your system despite the small size
• Standard 3-pin fan connector for connecting to almost any motherboard
• Supplied with a 3-pin to 4-pin Molex adapter, for direct connection to a power supply (PSU)

How much air does this fan move and is it loud?
This tiny fan can move a satisfying amount of air despite its compact form factor. The fan is perfect for cooling chipsets, hard drives and small form factor cases. It spins at 5,000 RPM to provide you with 5.22 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of airflow. Despite spinning at such a high RPM, this fan only produces 21dBA of noise. This makes it great for installing in systems where you want to keep ambient noise production to a minimum.

Would this fan be good in places with a restricted amount of space?
Capable of achieving up to 2.5mm/H2O of static pressure means that this fan is excellent for use in cases or areas where space is limited. With a good amount of airflow produced and high static pressure, you could fix this fan in a number of situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brillant Fan for my pc This is a brillant little fan for any pc use application, I used mine as a small case fan to replace a broken one its slightly noise but its ok for use

will this fan work with just the black and red wires connected to a 12v battery, as I need a small fan like this for a project.

Asked by: Derwent
Connecting the red and black wires would activate the fan at full power, you would loose the standard speed control however.

If i do not connect the yellow rpm cable but just connect the Red and Black cable the the 12v dc pins will it be ok or does it need the yellow to be connected ?
Asked by: Sam
The yellow cable merely controls the fan speed so the fan will operate without it being attached.
