You wouldn’t want your valuable tools and equipment to bear the brunt of damage during transit, would you? Then you need to invest in Maplin’s tough and rugged flight case equipped with foam. Manufactured using hi-quality materials, Maplin’s portable flight cases are tough and rugged, guaranteeing safe transportation and storage of your valuable and fragile equipment.Maplin’s flight case is ideal for tools, cameras, laptops, sat navs, as well for fragile personal accessories like hair dryers and such like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use 6 of these to transport the bits and pieces for a rock band PA (cables, mics, power supplies, etc.) and they are simply great! Some have the foam insert shaped to the contents, some don't have the foam in; they are so versitile. As you can imagine with the quick set up and take down of the PA, the cases are constantly in and out of cars and vans and they get a *LOT* of rough treatment, but they are still going strong after 3 years of weekly rehearsals and gigs. Really you can't do better than these for the price, indeed to get anything better you'll need (a) spend a *LOT* more on high-end flight cases and (b) have one serious application to justify it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've just purchased a Roland GR-55 and as it's a fairly pricy bit of kit thought it was appropriate to get a proper flight case for it. I searcherd around and found a fet items around ???70 before coming across this. And it's brilliant. I've taken the foam stuff out and packed a layer on the bottom. With a sheet of bubble wrap for protection the case contains the units, mains cable and GK-3 cable very snugly indeed. Perfect. Will definitely buy a couple more as I've worked out that one case will house Roland SonicCell together with Alesis SR-18 and the other can take a Zoom R16. 5 stars as it can't get any better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been using one of these cases for nearly 7 years now for microphones. It's stood up to numerous tours, getting chucked in vans and cars, it's been dropped, kicked and stood on and is still going strong! Whilst I wouldn't rely on the locks to keep anyone out who had much determination, they're a nice little touch to ease your mind! I've actually not bothered removing any of the precut foam, it's just soft enough to allow for anything up to 2 inches thick to be held securely with the case shutting around it. Whilst that might not be the most secure way of protecting my mics, it's meant that I've been able to adjust how I use it and extend the life of the case by miles! Well worth the money, highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic will buy more Bought this to house a portable recording studio - mics, headphones, sound card, cables and laptop - and does the job brilliantly. Only reason not 5 star review is because the shoulder strap's clips attaching it to the flight case are awful. It doesn't bother me because I only intend to carry it like a briefcase. They don't close properly so the strap just falls off. I wouldn't risk ever using it. Just today I was walking down the street and I look down and the shoulder strap is dragging on the floor after a few minutes of walking. Would recommend attaching your own strap if you wanted to use these as shoulder bags. Actual case itself is brilliant. You will love this case

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What can i say, i bought 3 of these initially as i though they seem quite cheap and that they wouldn't be the best, well i got it wrong, these cases were brilliant i didn't have to cut the foam as it plucked out and i even went the next day and got another 3, they are very well made slick rounded edge design, rubber feet (non marking) carry strap and the best thing of all was they were a bargain (on offer at the time), i have bought different cases from another site before and they were bulky square edged and twice the price so top marks to Maplin for another top quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast delivery, The case was better than described, The foam insert was very easy to shape to my Yaesu FT-857 and there was plenty of room for the radio and all its bits + a LDG Tuner ,It is ideal for me to take mobile

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice quality case at an excellent price. Very pleased. There is foam inside with blocks that can be pushed out to create any shape needed but I didn't need the foam as I am using the case for paperwork. Thinking of getting s second one now...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use these kind of cases in my work. Not for camera's or that kind of stuff! I use them for Power Tools or Test Instruments. When I saw this for the price.......Grabbed it! Not disappointed at all! Very nice looking & robust....Great!

With regard to the foam on the bottom section, is this one piece that allows you to cut out specific shapes or is it hundreds of squares and you have to take individual ones out?
